Well, the Big Day came and went - and it was wonderful! For those of you who came out, thanks so much. It was terrific to see you again! Aaah...summertime in Kelowna! Do you remember climbing on Ogopogo? How about dangling your feet in the fountain at the sails? Or looking at the sails when they were first made and wondering what the heck they were supposed to be?! Come to think of it, it also took me years to recognize that the big yellow B in front of The Bay was actually a B!
Remember greasing up and heading to Gyro Beach or City Park, cutting classes on that first long, hot day of summer? Or how about jumping into the swimming hole at Mission Creek? Aaah...those were the days.
