HEATHER STEPHEN

SCHOOL: Quigley  1976-1981.
TEACHERS:  Mrs. French, Mrs. Spilak, Ms. Main, Ms. Dale, Mrs. Weisbeck and Ms. Williams .
SCHOOL PALS: My best friend was Suzie Oliver.  Karen Gilbert, Erin Dale,  Nicki Bockhodt, Julie Halsey-Brant, Janice Netherton and Debbie Podmorrow. Back then I played a lot of hockey cards!
**I still remember the poster that Harry and Alden made me when I moved across the lake in March of Gr 5. I may still have it too...the whole class signed it.**

LIVING IN:  BC (Victoria) after living 10 years in Calgary

CAREER: I worked for Shell Canada for 10 years in Calgary. I am now starting work at UVic.
INTERESTS: I love gardening, soccer, hockey, NFL (go Broncos) and staying in touch with old friends (like Suzie O. and Karen G., plus the Follestad bros.

JENNIFER SIMMS

I am living at my Parent's house again, neither parent is healthy with my Dad being the worse and they live on an acre of orchard so enjoy the help. I am back at the Dairy queen, have been there since I was 15. Went off to Vancouver for a few years and tried a few different things, but I am treated like family at the DQ, and I love it. I manage the store and am close to being a part-owner. I am not married, no children (Does my 14yr old Husky/Lab count? I treat him like my child!) but have been with the love of my life and best friend for over 6 years. We spend our summer vacations at Christina lake with his son, bbqing, water skiing,( and when we're ready for some wipe-outs, wakeboarding). Snowboarding at Big White in the winter!

CINDY COLLINS

I'm divorced with two children; Ashleigh is 7 and Jake is 15.  
CAREER: I do Geographic Information Systems & IT but am 
working on switching to commercial real estate.  
LIVING IN:  Kitsilano.
INTERESTS: Ashleigh loves tennis, Jake's obsessed with 
video games & avoiding homework, I play tennis, hike & study.
TV: Early morning news, CNN & Larry King.  Other times are
monopolized by cartoon watchers & sports fanatics.

Claim to fame: Trying to be a good person, a contributor...but messing up badly along the way.
LIFE LESSON: No matter how many experiences you have in life or how old you are...you never know enough, 
do enough or live enough.  Be happy to do all you can.
LATEST GOAL: Setting goals. Oh, and trying to get out to PoCo to visit Karen Syrnk!! We're all too busy & 
might as well live on different continents!

TAMARA (TAMMIE) HARRISON 
I am divorced and raising three healthy kids . I wouldlike to say happy,  but two of them
 are teenagers! Dakota(cody), will be 17 this sept and graduates next june. Colby will be 15
 in October. My biggest surprise (and gift from the gods) is  Isabella, who will turn 8 next January. 
CAREER:I have a little cleaning / home carebusiness and ( brace yourself here ) I also work 
for the schoolboard at Vernon Senior Secondary and Kidston elementary.
LIVING IN: Coldstream. I have a cute little home on Kalamalka lake. 
INTERESTS: I am a full-time soccer / track mom. In the winters ringette , next year that may turn into hockey.

KAREN (COTTS) SYRNYK

I met Curtis at a grade 11 dance in 1986 at SVS and we married in 1992.  
CAREER: Travel Agent
LIVING IN: Vanvcouver since 1998 
KIDS: Stephen was born in 1997 and Dylan was born in 2003.  I love being a mom!  
LIFE LESSONS: I've learned many life lessons from my kids and at work, but my favorite 
lesson a friend taught me is not to worry so much as it all works out in the end.  
INTERESTS: I enjoy involving my children in many activities: gymnastics, music, 
baseball, soccer, swimming, skating, art classes.This fall I'm coaching Stephen's basketball team.  
TV: My favorite tv show is Seinfeld. Every re-run I see makes me laugh 
more than the last time I saw it.
BOOKS: My favorite books are the Harry Potter series, it makes me feel like I'm a kid again.

LEEA (McCRADY) LAWSON

Married to Gary

KIDS: 15 yr old son, 11 year old daughter

CAREER: Manager of customer service, RBC

LIVING IN: Vernon

We love living in the sunny Okanagan,playing slow pitch, camping, and boating in the summer and hockey in the winter. Both kids play hockey so I am the true hockey Mom with cow bell in tow. We also love to travel and try to get to Mexico every two years or so.

Life always seems busy with working full time and trying to keep up with kids, house, and everything else in between.
Still keep in close contact with Sheri Charest(Martel) - in fact she was my maid of honor.

We moved to Kamloops almost 8 years ago to start a print shop. Me and John met in a print shop in Port Coquitlam. I fell in love with him when he rode up to the place I was working on his Harley. He sold the Harley a while ago to start a business. We are members of the Vintage Car Club. We own a few cars that are all in need of restoration... Eventually (soon I hope) we will each have motorcycles of our own again. I became a Christian 3 1/2 years ago.

KIRSTEN (GELAUFF) ELLENBERGER

Married April 1989 to Ingmar Ellenberger. We met back in 1985.

Kids: We have a 15 year old son, Adam and a 12 Year old girl, Jordan

Living In: We are currently living in Bellevue, Washington. Just 15 minutes or so from Seattle where my husband works. We venture up to Kelowna a couple of times a year to visit family and friends.

I am unemployed at the moment due to our Visa Status. We are looking into getting our Greencard. In the meantime I spend time volunteering at our church. No claim to fame as of yet although I do think I'm the one who started the rumor about an IKEA coming to Kelowna. Sorry to those of you who
had your hopes up.

My interests
include reading, various crafts, singing, and piano
lessons. I also spend time at the local dog park with our Beagle named
PennyLane.

TV: I like some of the Reality TV shows out there but I'm hooked on 24 and Lost.

Life Lessons: No matter where I pitch my tent, God's there for me.
